ARTIST STATEMENT
I am a Macedonian painter and multidisciplinary artist based in Germany. My practice moves between painting and object-making, exploring the relationship between material, labor, and the social conditions in which artworks are produced.
I work with canvas as both image and object. Through cutting, stitching, reconstruction, and the use of industrial materials such as concrete, I investigate how processes of construction, repair, pressure, and transformation become part of the work itself. Rather than treating painting as a passive surface, I approach it as a physical material shaped by history, work, and economic realities.
My interest lies in questions of value, structural inequality, and the material conditions that influence both artistic production and everyday life. I am interested in how objects carry traces of the systems that produce them, and how painting can shift from representation toward material presence.
I received my BFA in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje and currently live and work in Germany.
